The Hike for Saugeen Hospice is a community-led fundraising and awareness event supporting the creation of a local hospice residence serving Brockton, Hanover, Minto, South Bruce, Southwestern West Grey, Southern Arran-Elderslie and surrounding areas.. Participants of all ages are invited to walk, hike, wheel and fundraise in honour of compassionate end-of-life care — helping ensure comfort, dignity, and support are available close to home when families need it most.
Our event takes place on the first Sunday in May, continuing the tradition of the national Hike for Hospice Palliative Care, joining communities across Canada in a shared commitment to hospice care, while keeping the focus firmly on building and sustaining hospice services for our own community.
Bring the whole family, this event is packed with fun for everyone, including children’s activities, entertainment, refreshments, and a welcoming atmosphere for your pets too!
This event features hikes in Durham, Hanover, Mildmay, Paisley and Walkerton. Respective hike maps and features will be available on the day of the hike. Details
