Walk It. Swim It. Try It. Hanover Has It All.
One afternoon. Multiple ways to take part in the Hike for Hospice.
Join us this Sunday, May 3rd in Hanover for a Hike for Hospice that’s anything but ordinary.
Running from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Hanover P&H Centre (269 7th Avenue), the Hanover event kicks off with energy right from the start. At 1:00 P.M. Town Crier, Jenn Olivero will get things underway, followed by a Lift Fitness Studio warm-up to get everyone moving.
From there, it’s your kind of afternoon—choose your pace, your activity, and how you want to take part:
Take a dip in the pool with a free public swim (donations appreciated)
Head out for a walk—indoors on the track or outside through the neighbourhood
Spend time in the Family Fun Zone, featuring Yoga Barn yoga, colouring, games, and a construction-themed photo booth
Feeling ambitious? Enter the Hike Triathlon Challenge—swim, walk, and complete a circuit on indoor dryland training equipment for a fun twist on the day.
There’s plenty happening off the trail too:
Enjoy a BBQ by donation hosted by the Hanover Lions Club
Browse and bid at the Silent Auction (open until 2:30 P.M.)—cash preferred, with items paid for and picked up by 3:00 P.M.
