It's Worth Your Time

Posted: May 1, 2026

From warm-up to finish line, Paisley’s Hike for Hospice is packed with energy, fun, and community spirit.

Join us this Sunday, May 3rd in Paisley for an afternoon that goes well beyond the walk.

The Paisley Hike for Hospice runs from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Paisley Rotary Riverside Palace (293 James Street), and it’s shaping up to be one of the most lively stops on the trail.

Before you even hit the route, Definition Fitness will get everyone moving with an energizing group warm-up—then it’s off on a clearly marked walking route that brings you right back inside the Riverside Palace to finish.

While you're there, take time to explore everything happening around you:

  • A silent auction featuring great items from local businesses—place your bid and check back often until 2:30 P.M. (payment by cash or cheque; items picked up at the end)
  • Games and activities led by senior students from Paisley Central School
  • A classic hotdog BBQ to keep you fueled

There’s no shortage of photo moments either. Snap a picture at:

  • A butterfly-themed photo wall featuring artwork by local students
  • A second booth with a scenic “Saugeen River” backdrop

And if you were there last year, you know anything can happen…
We had a dinosaur show up—so who knows what surprise might be waiting this time?

Rain or shine, the event goes ahead—so dress for the weather and come ready for anything. Our local Paisley Firefighters will be on site to support the day.

The Grand Finale

We’ll wrap things up with the BIG REVEAL—announcing the total funds raised in Paisley and celebrating what the community has accomplished together.
